We loved the relaxed vibe and good energy at this hostel. the containers were quaint and the gardens well-kept. Hammocks everywhere added to the relaxing atmosphere. the location was perfect, just a 3-minute walk to the beach and 2 minutes to the convenience store. the owner, Roger, was incredibly kind and made us feel like we were part of a new family. the close proximity to the beach meant we could enjoy the beautiful birds and flowers as we explored the area. a fantastic experience!

One thing I disliked was the incorrect GPS coordinates provided for the hotel. It took me a while to find the place as even Google Maps had the wrong directions.

I had a wonderful time at The Spot, between beach and hammock. It was the perfect place to relax and get away from the tourist crowds. I booked for one night and ended up staying about two weeks. Much more than a hostel- a wonderful place, lots of nature with sweet little details, hangout areas to chill. Built with love and passion- "good vibes only" is not only the slogan but describes the atmosphere. You hear the ocean and cicadas. The kitchen is huge, with tupperware and sharp knives. The quiet atmosphere was enjoyable and the host was very committed and nice. Ideal for day trips and stopovers to nearby attractions like Playa Hermosa, Jaco, Crocodile Tour, Carara National Park, Bijagual Waterfall or Manuel Antonio National Park. The staff at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Water pressure in the bathroom was amazing.
